MOOCs and VR in Second Language Classrooms”線上專題演講(何德華老師)

This panel presentation illustrates how we developed digital resources to teach Austronesian languages and linguistics in Taiwan. Part I presents how we developed and implemented two Indonesian massive open online courses (MOOC) to train university students to analyze linguistic structures in Austronesian languages and learn Indonesian as a second language (ISL). Part II presents the results of our newest inquiry, using CoSpaces to create virtual reality (VR) stories in Filipino and Indonesian. Finally, we provide pedagogical implications on how to integrate digital technology into teaching and learning a foreign language in the digital age.
